Diana L. Jones, age 60 of Warren, died in her home on November 29, 2009. She was born on March 11, 1949 in Princeton, Illinois to parents, the late Louis and the late Marjorie (nee: Bickford) Eaton.
Being very smart, independent and resourceful, Diana was a well-rounded and in-touch type of person who found great interest in doing new things and keeping abreast of current events. She had an insatiable hunger and desire for being "in-the-know" and ahead of the curve. Another passion of hers was how much she adored the glimmer and majesty of Christmas, and sharing those precious holiday moments with family and friends. Also on her favorites list was the game of football. She enjoyed all of the excitement that came from being an armchair Quarterback. When it came to entertainment, Diana was big on music...especially that of the Blues genre. And seeing as she hailed from the Blues capital of the world, she knew the Best of the Blues!
For those who truly knew Diana, they'll recall just how much she loved to laugh and dance. With her jovial and fun-loving spirit, every now & then she'd get carried away with laughter that turned to giggles...and soon she'd have the entire room in stitches. It's that sweet spirit and verve for life that touched the hearts of all who shared in her life experience, hearts that will miss her immensely.
It is said that "good things come in three's." Well, that certainly must hold true when considering the loved ones Diana leaves to cherish her memory. There's 3 daughters, 3 siblings, 3 nieces, and 3 nephews. But when remembering those special to her, there's a one-of-a-kind friend that deserves mention and will miss her terribly...her cat, Callie.
Beloved mother of Pamela Carney, Allyson Jones and Megan Jones. Dear sister of Linda (Harold) Brenizer, Chris Durocher, and Steven (Cynthia) Eaton. Loving Aunt of Pam, Emily, Ashley, Eric, Miles, and Neil.
